The Pitch Fest

Pitch real producers, directors,
and production companies.

A rare in-room opportunity for filmmakers to pitch projects directly to active producers, working directors, and production companies open to new material.

A dedicated track for playwrights pitching plays runs alongside the film pitch sessions, with selected partners and producers on the listening end.

Pitch slots are strictly limited so each pitch gets the time and attention it deserves. Newsletter subscribers receive the first registration window.

003 · How the Pitch Fest Works

A real room. A real cohort.
Time for real conversation.

The Pitch Fest is not a cattle call. It's a deliberately small program designed so each pitch gets meaningful time, and each producer or director on the listening end has the bandwidth to actually engage.

  1. 01

    Subscribe for the registration window

Subscribers get the registration link in their inbox before it goes public. Given how limited the cohort is, the window often closes before the public window opens.

  2. 02

Submit a project brief with your Pitch Fest Pass

A short brief (1–2 pages) describing the project, its stage, and what you're seeking — financing, distribution, attached talent, production partner. For playwrights, the same applies to your play.

  3. 03

You're matched with the right room

SLPFF reviews briefs and matches each filmmaker (or playwright) with the producer, director, or production company most likely to be a fit. You may receive one or more matched slots depending on availability and fit.

  4. 04

    You pitch — for real

Each pitch is a roughly 15-minute conversation. Bring whatever you'd bring to a real meeting — a deck, sides, sizzle reel, or just your script and your voice. Q&A and feedback are part of the slot.

  5. 05

The conversation continues after the festival

SLPFF doesn't broker deals. What we do is put filmmakers and partners in the same room and step back. Follow-up is direct, person to person, on the timeline that fits the project.
