The Schedule.

The 2027 festival is programmed by genre — short-film blocks, feature blocks, and the Swan Awards on Sunday evening. Tentatively Sept 10–12, 2027 — the full schedule will be released next year.

001 · The 2027 Format

Programmed by genre.
Awarded on Sunday.

2026 taught us something: audiences show up for the kind of film they love. So in 2027 the schedule is built in genre blocks — horror, comedy, faith & family, documentary, music video — with short films and features programmed in separate blocks so a two-hour feature never has to follow four shorts.

The Swan Awards ceremony moves to Sunday evening, after the final screening, with nominees on screen and winners in envelopes — followed by an awards dinner for everyone who submitted.

The block below is an example only. The real 2027 schedule will be released next year.
