How it works

Enter once. Compete across the board.

At SLPFF, a single submission to a primary category — say, Feature Film — automatically enters your work for consideration in associated awards including Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, and more.

We welcome films from around the world across all genres: drama, comedy, thriller, horror, sci-fi, animation, documentary, music videos, faith-based films, and Southern storytelling.

First-time filmmaker or seasoned professional — SLPFF celebrates the diversity and daring spirit of independent cinema.
